Bish Smeir travelled to Jersey this week to complete Vow’s long awaited move to Cavendish Fiduciary.

We’d like to officially welcome James Cunningham Davis and Lindsay Bracegirdle onboard as corporate directors.

We think we are in the best of hands with them both;

As a result, we asked them to provide a short bio for you!

 

James Cunningham-Davis

James is a UK Solicitor with long standing interest in fintech and digital enterprise ranging from e characters/ emoji, mobile telephony including prepaid cards, which back in the day were the method of payment for phone calls and more recently he has been involved in mobile games services.

James is one of the founders of a UK licensed, online gaming company, and developer of next generation gaming, gambling platforms, together with blockchain platforms, for those engaging in industries ranging from food to aviation.

In more recent years James has become increasingly involved in various blockchain crypto enterprises, including a Layer One Protocol. James is involved at Board level, having been involved with the ICO, including all Regulatory matters and has subsequently being involved in the day-to-day operations. He is pleased to be involved in the Vow project and providing assistance to the Team in delivering the Vow goals.

James holds Board/ Company Secretarial positions on various companies from start-up through to flotation on UK Stock Exchanges and acts as a personal Trustee on a number of private Trusts, including that of a highly respected Educational establishment in the UK.

 

Lindsay Bracegirdle

Lindsay has worked in financial services for many years, starting out in audit with Ernst & Young & qualifying as a Chartered Accountant carrying out audits for Trading Companies and Financial Service businesses. She then moved into Risk Management and Compliance becoming Risk Manager for a large Trust Company in Jersey.

For the past 13 years Lindsay has been a Director of Cavendish Fiduciary (Jersey) Limited and is a qualified Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer and retains a strong interest in regulatory compliance assisting many clients with their regulatory requirements from client money rules to Anti-Money Laundering Regulations.

Lindsay has an interest in IT from the dawn of the internet age, when she built her own computer at University learning the art of soldering in the process…. to being an early gamer (an interest which she still follows when time allows). In more recent times Lindsay has gained additional expertise in various cryptocurrencies and also crypto connected businesses, including ICOs, exchanges and through to proprietary crypto derivative trading.

Lindsay is excited to be involved with Vow at such an early stage and is pleased to join the Team in building the Vow future.
